I just came from seeing 13 Going on 30 with my pal Eric. He was very nice to agree to go to whatever movie I wanted to see, so that was very cool. He is a fan of the movie Big, as am I, so it was a special treat for both of us...I think it's extraa fun for those of us who are children of the 80's. I have to say that Jennifer Garner is just so gosh darn cute! When we got there, they were showing a preview for Raising Helen. Eric informed me that our friends Derek and Wes, who are working for Garry Marshall in L.A. actually are in the movie. So I can't wait to go to see that one. When I was in L.A. last year I stopped by the theater where they work and actually went into Garry Marshall's office....so that was very exciting!
Along the Hollywood lines....I can't share many details...but...I may just have the opportunity to meet Britney Spears one, maybe two times, this summer. Ah, the joys of two degrees of separation! I will see what I can do to make this more exciting for y'all...to make it up to those of you who don't believe me and must be jealous that I have been within 2 foot distance of Tiffani-Amber Theisen (Kelly Kapowski) and Jennie Garth (Kelly - 90210). Hahahahahahaha....
I discovered a new Christian band that I absolutely LOVE....they are called BarlowGirl, and they are three sisters (with the last name Barlow) that have beautiful pure voices and play piano, bass, guitar and drums. They remind me a lot of Evanescence (I'm tired of typing in links), a little bit of Avril Lavigne and Nicole Nordman.....somewhat rockish, but totally beautiful! Great stuff!
